The Emperor is the daddy of the tarot. He symbolizes our relationship to power, money and structure. If we don’t do our Emperor work then we can find ourselves struggling with:
Structures that seem to inhibit us
Feeling that others have power over us or wanting to dominate and control others
Not knowing how to take up space (or taking up too much space)
The Emperor and the Empress go together. Once we have done the work of the Empress we can move onto Emperor work; proudly claiming our place in the world without having to wield toxic power over others or submit to the toxic systems that we exist in. We can just be.
